This Lent we are using The Way of Love, a national church program enthusiastically created by our Presiding Bishop, Michael Curry.  Over the six Thursdays in Lent we will be looking at seven spiritual practices that will deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other.  Each Thursday evening a member of the clergy will offer a short presentation on one of the spiritual practices.  The remainder of the evening will involve small group conversation about the practice.  

The Way of Love promises to be a wonderful way into deepening our relationship with God and each other.  Indeed, this will be a Holy Lent preparing us for Eastertide’s abundant new life.  Be prepared to be transformed!

We will gather in the Parish Hall and use our traditional Lenten Thursday format:

5:30 p.m. -Light Supper

6:00 p.m. -Short Presentation on a Spiritual Practice

6:20 p.m. -Small Group Conversation

6:50 p.m. -Compline

We are hoping that those who are new to St. Peter’s will make The Way of Love a way to go more deeply into the St. Peter’s community.
